Terms of Service and Rental Agreement

AGREEMENT TO TERMS
By completing a booking with Windsor Lawn Signs, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. This agreement constitutes a legally binding contract between the client and Windsor Lawn Signs.
BOOKING AND PAYMENT
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure the requested date and inventory. All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon receipt of payment.
The client agrees to provide a valid credit card to be securely kept on file. By completing the booking, the client authorizes Windsor Lawn Signs to charge the card on file for any additional fees, including but not limited to damages, loss, or violations of these Terms & Conditions.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Cancellations made seven (7) or more days prior to the scheduled event date are eligible for a full refund, less any applicable processing fees.
Cancellations made between three (3) and seven (7) days prior to the event date are eligible for a fifty percent (50%) refund.
Cancellations made within seventy-two (72) hours of the scheduled event date are non-refundable.
RESCHEDULING
A one-time reschedule may be requested, subject to the following conditions:
Reschedule requests made seven (7) or more days prior to the event date are free of charge.
Reschedule requests made between three (3) and seven (7) days prior to the event date will incur a $25 rescheduling fee.
Reschedule requests must be made at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled installation time. Requests made within forty-eight (48) hours are not permitted.
Rescheduled bookings must be used within thirty (30) days of the original event date.
All reschedules are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.
Only one reschedule is permitted per booking.
Windsor Lawn Signs reserves the right to decline reschedule requests based on scheduling constraints or operational limitations.
WEATHER POLICY
Installations will proceed in normal outdoor conditions, including light rain.
In cases of severe weather, including but not limited to high winds, thunderstorms, heavy rain, or unsafe ground conditions, Windsor Lawn Signs reserves the right to delay, modify, or cancel installation at its sole discretion.
If installation cannot be completed due to severe weather, the client will be offered either a rescheduled date, subject to availability, or a credit toward a future booking. Refunds in these circumstances are not guaranteed and are issued at the sole discretion of Windsor Lawn Signs.
SETUP AND ACCESS
The client is responsible for ensuring that the installation area is accessible, safe, and free of obstacles, including but not limited to debris, pet waste, irrigation systems, and underground hazards.
Windsor Lawn Signs is not responsible for damage to underground utilities or property where such hazards have not been properly disclosed.
Failure to provide safe and accessible conditions may result in cancellation of the installation without refund.
RENTAL PERIOD AND OWNERSHIP
All signs and equipment remain the property of Windsor Lawn Signs at all times.
The standard rental period is as agreed upon at the time of booking. Windsor Lawn Signs will install and remove all signage unless otherwise specified.
DAMAGE, LOSS, OR THEFT
The client assumes full responsibility for all rented items from the time of installation until removal.
The client is responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of items caused by, including but not limited to lawn maintenance equipment, pets or animals, tampering or relocation, vandalism, theft, or failure to notify Windsor Lawn Signs of fallen or compromised signage.
DAMAGE FEES
The client agrees that damaged or missing items will be charged based on repair or full replacement cost, as determined by Windsor Lawn Signs.
Typical replacement costs include standard coroplast addon signs or components at $25.00 to $150.00 per item, large or custom panels at $175.00 to $350.00 or more per item or section, and complete set replacement starting at $350.00 and up to full replacement value.
Where items are not repairable, full replacement cost will be charged.
AUTHORIZATION TO CHARGE
By completing the booking, the client authorizes Windsor Lawn Signs to charge the card on file for any additional fees arising from damage, loss, late removal caused by restricted access, or violations of these Terms & Conditions.
PROHIBITED USE
The client agrees not to move, reposition, or tamper with signage, attach additional items or decorations, or use signage for unintended purposes.
Any violation may result in additional charges.
LIABILITY
Windsor Lawn Signs is not responsible for any injury, damage, or loss arising from the use, misuse, or presence of rented signage.
The client acknowledges that signage is installed using stakes and anchoring devices inserted into the ground, which may present a tripping hazard or physical risk if not avoided.
The client assumes full responsibility for ensuring that all persons on the property, including guests, children, and pets, are supervised and avoid contact with the signage and its components.
All signage is intended for decorative purposes only and must not be climbed on, handled excessively, or used in any unsafe manner.
Windsor Lawn Signs shall not be held liable for injuries or incidents resulting from failure to properly supervise children, guests, or pets around installed signage.
PHOTOGRAPHY AND MARKETING
Windsor Lawn Signs reserves the right to photograph installations and use such images for marketing and promotional purposes without compensation to the client.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and applicable federal laws of Canada.
